Established in 1952, the Sara K. Weston Fund, a non-profit organization, offers professional programs to help in various ways in the community. Funded through gifts, the organization directs its energy toward growing awareness. Sara K. Weston Fund and Creative Storm partnered to develop a PR outreach program with many of Greater Cincinnati’s leading corporations. A poster with emphasis on helping blind children was distributed throughout corporate offices around the tri-state area. The creative message of the poster is simple, bold design with literally no picture or graphics. This approach won Best PR Initiative internationally, capturing the prestigious ADDY Award.
The results exceeded projections, as the PR Outreach program increased funds raised by 35%, and was able to have lasting effect keeping gift giving at a new level.
